Summary: One week tour from Puerto Jimenez to Puerto Jimenez (fly in). Maximize your one-week vacation by flying to Puerto Jimenez where you can explore mangroves, kayak or just simply relax on the beach.

I think that the Osa Peninsula is a must-see. Who knows how long it will be the way it currently is? If you have the money, love off-the-beaten-track and enjoy nature, this is a great itinerary. If you have more time, then skip the flight and rent a car or take a bus.

  • Days 1 & 2: Puerto Jimenez. Take a local connector flight to this great spot and enjoy this tiny charming town.
  • Day 3: La Palma. Station yourself in La Palma so that you can visit the Guaymi Indigenous Reserve in Osa.
  • Days 4 & 5: Los Patos to Carate. Depart for Los Patos ranger station where the adventure part of your vacation begins. Either embark on an independent trek or hire a guide to take you through the Corcovado National Park.
  • Day 6 & 7: Cabo Matapalo: Take a water colectivo to Cabo Matapalo where you can relax, kayak or explore a waterfall.
